Why use IP monitoring? IP CCTV is used mainly because of the much better digital cameras. The essential difference between analog and digital cameras (IP) resolution, which in the case of analog cameras does not exceed 720 x 600px.

Megapixel camera make it possible to achieve a resolution several times higher eg a 1.3 megapixel camera get 1024 x 768 px on the camera 2Mpx get maximum 1600 x 1200 px.

Complete IP monitoring can be built using a cheaper camera series AVI201 and AVI202. For image recording, you can use a Windows PC with installed software Video Viewer. There are, however, IP cameras for standard definition and analog cameras. However, have a built-in video server, which converts the signal to an IP broadcast. Analog image quality does not differ substantially from the picture of the IP camera.

A better solution if we are able to monitor the use of IP megapixel cameras such as the IPC-F725P included with the camera is included with software for managing and recording video with a maximum of 36 such cameras. The camera is equipped with an FTP client so you can configure it so that it will be sent the video stream and (or) images to an FTP server. Using this configuration will be guaranteed to play recordings in the event of failure of the recording unit.
