CCTV Lenses

Fundamental issue is to choose for each specific application of the respective lenses. Incorrect selection of the lens may cause malfunction of the system.

• Auto-iris lenses are typically used outdoors, where the prevailing changing lighting conditions.
• Manual iris lenses are used normally for internal applications where the light level remains constant. This August that we decide on the type of aperture, we need to stand before choosing a focal length lens.

Lens focal length is related directly to the angle of view, to be achieved.

Small focal lengths give a wide viewing angle. Large focal lengths give a narrow viewing angle. Thus, in order to allow the specific identification of vehicles and people from long distances should be mounted lenses with long focal lengths.
